Jewelry with teeth

What is dental jewelry?

The first baby teeth appear and every new tooth is a highlight for the parents. Our babies often suffer a lot during this time and after many sleepless nights and stressful days, all of their teeth are finally there.

At some point the baby teeth start to fall out and then disappear into some baby tooth can and are never seen again.

Wouldn't it be nicer to be able to capture this special and stressful time in a piece of jewelry and always carry it close to you?

How is jewelry made from teeth?

I sterilize the cleaned and dried tooth again and thus remove any bacteria.

If the entire tooth doesn't fit in your selected piece of jewelry, I will contact you and together we will find the perfect solution for your commemorative jewel.

How do I care for my tooth jewelry?

I recommend cleaning the jewelry occasionally with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water. This helps remove dirt, and tarnishing of metals can be prevented or eliminated. Never clean the jewelry with alcoholic cleaners or nail polish remover! Some pieces of jewelry are coated, and using such substances can permanently damage this layer as well as the resin.

Store the jewelry protected from direct sunlight and heat, but please do not keep it completely in the dark in a box or similar, as rare cases of dark yellowing may occur!

Do not store the jewelry in the bathroom!

Avoid contact with a lot of water, as well as saltwater, sweat, chemical substances, strong heat, and sunlight. Therefore, I recommend taking off the jewelry when showering, bathing, swimming, exercising, sunbathing, and before going to bed.

Rings should be removed before washing hands and should not come into contact with creams or similar.

It is normal for sterling silver to tarnish over time. This tarnishing is accelerated by contact with substances such as perfume, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray, and chlorine, as well as the acidic pH values of the skin. Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing defect."
