How do I care for my hair accessories or animal fur jewelry?

I recommend cleaning the jewelry occasionally with a soft cloth slightly dampened with soapy water. In this way, contamination is removed and tarnishing of the metals can be avoided or eliminated. Please never clean the jewelry with alcoholic cleaners or nail polish removers! Some pieces of jewelry are painted, which permanently damages this layer and also the casting resin.

The jewelry should be stored away from direct sunlight and heat, but please do not store it in a box or something similar completely in the dark, as in rare cases this can lead to dark yellowing!
Please do not store jewelry in the bathroom!

Contact with a lot of water and also salt water, sweat, chemical substances, strong heat and sunlight should be avoided. I therefore recommend taking off your jewelry when showering, bathing, swimming, exercising, sunbathing and before going to bed.
Rings should be removed before washing your hands and should not come into contact with cream or the like.
It is normal for sterling silver to tarnish over time. However, this tarnishing is accelerated by contact with, for example, perfume, salty air, sulfur, skin creams, hairspray and chlorine, as well as by the acidic pH values of the skin. Tarnishing is therefore not a manufacturing defect.
